Discovering Design with Biology (Berean Builders)
Description: This Berean Builders college-preparatory biology course introduces students to the design and diversity of life. Students explore classification, biochemistry, cell structure, and essential biological processes such as photosynthesis, while also surveying major groups of living organisms. The course provides a solid foundation in life science and helps students grow in scientific understanding through careful study of the natural world. This course is worth 1 high school science credit.
Grade Level: 9-10 (ages 14-16)

Required Materials:
- Discovering Design with Biology Set
- (Includes the Textbook & Answer Key)
- Dissection Lab Kit
- Household items will be needed for experiments listed in the textbook appendix.
- A blank, lined notebook for reading notes, written review answers, and recording experiment results.

Honors Requirement:
- To make this course an honors credit, students must purchase the Microscope Lab Kit and complete the microscope experiments included in the textbook.
