Geography I

Geography I: Middle East, North Africa, and Europe covers the area that constituted the ancient Roman Empire. Each region is explored in its historical setting through “History’s Headlines,” as well in its present context with “Tour of Today” exercises. Your student will learn modern countries and capitals and relate them to the ancient lands of the Greeks and Romans, deepening understanding of both the past and the present. Students will be expected to diligently review flashcards of current and previous regions to prepare for cumulative exams throughout the year.
