Apologetics

Description: In this course, students will study and discuss great works on Christian apologetics in an effort to understand and bolster their Christian faith and hope. Emphasis will be placed primarily on reading and class discussion, and students should come prepared to think and to talk about diverse theological issues and ideas. This class is intended to provide models of the defense of the Christian faith and to guide students to begin to think theologically with grace and humility.

Grade Level: 8-12 (ages 13-18)

Prerequisites: None, though Logic I is helpful.

Required Materials: Apologetics set by Memoria Press A full Bible is required; the KJV will be most often used in class but a KJV/NIV side by side version is preferable for students that will struggle with the older language of the KJV.
