Debbie Rackers

Debbie Rackers graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri- Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology). She worked as a Traffic Engineer before her children were born. She began homeschooling when her oldest was in 5th grade, and has been homeschooling her seven children for almost 20 years. For the last 8 years, she has been an active member of a local classical co-op where she has taught Traditional Logic, science, and geography, and tutored students in preparation for math contests. She has also taught a full chemistry lab in her garage, complete with Bunsen burners, to a group of high schoolers. When she is not teaching, Debbie enjoys reading, playing Euro style board games, hiking in the neighboring county park, and attempting to teach herself Latin.
