Henle Latin I, Units 1-5

Description: Units 1-5 of Henle I covers five noun and two adjective declensions with a stress on the understanding of the five main grammatical cases. This class also covers present, imperfect, and future tense of all four verb conjugations in the active indicative. Short readings in history will also be presented. Average students will need 45-60 minutes per day for this class. The grade is based upon attendance, participation, weekly quizzes, and semester exams. This class is worth 1 high school credit.

Grade Level: 8-12 (ages 13-18)

Prerequisites: None 

Required Materials: Henle Latin First Year Text, Henle Latin I Key, and Henle Latin Grammar (used in all four years).Students will also need a USB headset microphone (built-in microphones also work).
