Claire Kennedy


Claire Kennedy graduated from Smith College with a Bachelor of Arts in government and economics and is currently working toward two master’s degrees, MATS from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and MA in Great Books with Memoria College.  She began classically educating her own children in 2001 and homeschooled for 19 years. In her time as a homeschooler, she coached students in speech and debate for 12 years.  For the past three years, she has served on the faculty of a classical Christian school in Montgomery, AL, teaching modern history, literature, rhetoric, and writing. Claire Kennedy lives in Montgomery, Alabama with her children and two springer spaniels, one lively and one lazy. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. Her favorite book is Anna Karenina.
